Why Does Germany Need the Opportunity Card?
Germany faces a serious shortage of skilled workers. Without immigration, the country may face a shortfall of about 16 million workers by 2060, according to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The Opportunity Card program aims to attract skilled professionals worldwide to fill these gaps and support Germany’s economy.
